Theta Labs uses Privy for authentication. You can sign in with your email address or a social account (Google, Apple, etc.) — no external wallet like MetaMask or Phantom is required. When you sign in for the first time, Privy creates an embedded wallet for you automatically. This wallet is tied to your login and lives in your browser. You don’t need to manage a seed phrase or install any browser extension to get started.Embedded wallets are non-custodial. Theta Labs never holds your private keys — they are encrypted and stored in your browser via Privy’s secure infrastructure. Only you can sign transactions from your wallet.
