# Spot Markets

> Discover and browse prediction markets on the Spot page.

The **Spot** page is your feed of active Polymarket prediction markets. You can browse, filter, and search, then click into any market to trade — see [Spot Trading](/trading/spot-trading) for how orders work.

## Sort tabs

Switch between four sort modes using the tabs at the top of the feed:

| Tab             | What it shows                                              |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Trending** | Markets with the highest total trading volume |
| **Hot** | Markets with the highest 24-hour volume — the default view |
| **New** | The newest markets, by start date |
| **Ending soon** | Markets ordered by how soon they close |

## Categories

Filter the feed to a topic using the category bar: **All, Politics, Sports, Esports, Crypto, Economy, Tech, Culture, World**.

<Note>
  For sports, the feed shows game moneylines and futures. Per-game prop listings are filtered out to keep the grid focused.
</Note>

## Searching

Two ways to find a market:

* The **search box in the top navigation** ("Search markets…") filters the Spot grid by keyword.
* **Ctrl/⌘ + K** opens a command palette that matches market titles as you type — select a result to jump straight to that market's page.

## Reading a market card

| Element              | What it means                                                                                  |
| -------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Title & image** | The question the market resolves on |
| **Probability** | For binary markets, a large YES percentage labeled "chance" — green at 50% or above, red below |
| **Yes / No buttons** | One-tap entry points showing the live price on each side |
| **Top outcomes** | For multi-outcome events, the top two outcomes are listed, each with Yes/No buttons |
| **Footer** | Total volume ("\$X Vol.") plus the time remaining or the number of outcomes |

## Market detail page

Clicking a card opens the market page:

* **Header** — the market title with its volume, timing, and outcome count, plus a **Share** button.
* **Price chart** — the market's price history with **1D / 1W / 1M / ALL** ranges.
* **Outcomes** — each outcome with its current price and 24-hour change. Click an outcome to expand its own chart and live **order book** (bids and asks at each level, with the spread shown). Sports markets default to the moneyline, with a "Show all markets" toggle for the rest.
* **About** — the market's description and resolution criteria.
* **Recent orders** — the latest trades in the market.
* **Trade ticket** — the Buy/Sell panel, docked on the right.
